Greeting all,

I run humble UK film shop on eBay called gaugefilm and thought it was about time I did a little self promotion. Here is my shop:

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/gaugefilm

The shop started up early 2011 and it has become somewhat of a linchpin in the film community within the UK. I opened my virtual doors when a myriad of Labs were closing down around the country. I simply felt compelled to counter the dismantlement of film in the UK. It's been a rough year film wise but gaugefilm has emerged out of the other side and is now slowly expanding its services to help people who use film. I aim to bring you film services at very affordable prices. I want to encourage people to use film, not scare them away with staggeringly high prices!

I sell film camera's, film accessories, film and have a colour and B&W developing service. Soon we'll also have a SD and HD telecine service as well. By the end of the year we should be a fully functional small gauge lab!

The B&W developing service is new and could really do with your support for this first month. I have been next door at the "filmshooting" forum and have been realigning filmmakers whom are accustom to B&W film to try out the service. I'm hoping to gain some insightful feedback from such people. I hope to entice some kind minded filmmakers who can perhaps support the service in this early stage without being too critical. Personally I have spent a lot of time and effort researching and practicing the B&W process and throughout April tests have been brilliant, getting results that rival the Labs! However this is still a new service and to begin with I would feel more comfortable working with filmmakers whom are perhaps more understanding and sympathetic than others. Thats why I'm asking friendly people on here and other forums to snap up the developing slots before other less understanding people do.

When starting a new service It's always a little tense and scary but hopefully you guys can help me make the transition a little smoother.

Hope to hear from you!
Kevin
