I certainly reckon that you should take this up with the seller too.

As for the motor problem it could be the relays or a failing motor or just that the take-up tension is insufficient.

I think that you should at least speak to the seller where the lamp problem is concerned.

Interesting that you have had this machine blow it's fuse and the apartment fuse.

I have a GS1200 Xenon that seems to draw a much larger mains current that I would expect for a 400W rated machine.

If I use a 13A rated cable I am ok, but a 6A rated mains cable gets warm to the touch. If I use a 5A fuse in the plug (UK so have fuses int he plugs themselves) it will sometimes blow. a 13A fuse is OK.

I wonder if anyone else has seen this high current draw on a Gs1200 Xenon? Any ideas what might cause it?
